Installation Requirements
- Power: A dedicated single phase power source with adequate connected load is required for optimal performance
- Wiring: Use a minimum of 6 square mm, 3-core copper cable to handle the electrical load safely. In hot environments, consider using a 10 square mm copper cable.
- Earthing: Ensure the power point is properly earthed to prevent electrical hazards.
- Circuit Breaker: Install a 40A double/two-pole MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker), Surge Protection Device (SPD), RCD (Residual Current Device) to protect against power surges and electrical faults.

Voltage Stabilizer: If facing frequent input power fluctuations, use an appropriate voltage stabilizer.
Instructions to Use
1. Preparation
- Ensure your charging area is dry and free from obstructions.
- Verify that the socket you'll be using is properly earthed to ensure safety during charging
2. Setting Up the Charger
- Unpack the Wave charger.
- Wall-mount the charger as per the instruction guide
- Connect the power cable to the MCB
3. Selecting the Current
- Connect the charger to the Mobile App as per the instructions manual
- Choose a lower current setting if you are unsure about the power capacity of your socket
4. Connecting to Your EV
- Plug the Wave charger's connector into your electric vehicle's charging port.

Ensure the connection is secure and the plug is properly seated.
5. Starting the Charge
- Once connected, the charger will automatically begin charging your vehicle.Â
- In case Plug & Charge is not activated, you can start charging by tapping the RFI Card below the screen or by using the Mobile App
- The LCD screen on the charger will show the charging status
6. Ending the Charge
- Once your vehicle is fully charged, or if you need to stop charging, switch off the charger from the socket before unplugging it from your vehicle.
- You can also stop the charging by tapping the RFID card or stopping the session from the mobile app

Carefully disconnect the charger from your EV and store it safely
7. Safety Precautions
- Always use a properly earthed socket to avoid electrical hazards.
- Ensure a Surge Protection Device (SPD) and a Residual Current Breaker (RCB) are installed to protect against power surges and electrical faults.
- Do not use the charger if it or any of its components appear damaged.
- Keep the charger away from water and extreme temperatures.
