Installation Requirements

• Power Socket: A dedicated 16A three-phase power socket is required for optimal performance (included with the packaging).
• Wiring: Use a minimum of 6 square mm, 5-core copper cable to handle the electrical load safely. In hot environments, consider using a 10 square mm copper cable.
• Earthing: Ensure the power socket is properly earthed to prevent electrical hazards.
• Circuit Breaker: Install a 20A four pole MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker), Surge Protection Device (SPD), and RCD (Residual Current Device) to protect against power surges and electrical faults.
• Voltage Stabilizer: If facing frequent input power fluctuations, use an appropriate voltage stabilizer.

Instructions for Use

1. Preparation

• Ensure your charging area is dry and free from obstructions.
• Verify that the socket you'll be using is properly earthed to ensure safety during charging.

2. Setting Up the Charger

• Unpack the Flex Plus charger.
• Connect the appropriate power plug of the Flex Plus charger to the power socket.

3. Selecting the Current

• The charger is preset to 16A for optimal performance.

4. Connecting to Your EV

• Plug the Flex Plus charger's connector into your electric vehicle's charging port.
• Ensure the connection is secure and the plug is properly seated.

5. Starting the Charge

• Once connected, the charger will automatically begin charging your vehicle.
• The LED indicator and LCD display on the charger will show the charging status.

6. Ending the Charge

• Once your vehicle is fully charged, or if you need to stop charging, switch off the charger from the socket before unplugging it from your vehicle.
• Carefully disconnect the charger from your EV and store it safely.

7. Safety Precautions

• Always use a properly earthed power socket to avoid electrical hazards.
• Ensure a Surge Protection Device (SPD) and a Residual Current Breaker (RCB) are installed to protect against power surges and electrical faults.
• Do not use the charger if it or any of its components appear damaged.
• Keep the charger away from water and extreme temperatures.
• Follow all local regulations and guidelines regarding EV charging.
