The Zevpoint Aveo 3.6 Plus Portable EV Charger lets you connect via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth using the Zevpoint Home app. Easily control and monitor your car's charging, set schedules, and view charging records. Download the app from the Apple Store or Play Store, register or sign in, and enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to connect with your device.

Installation Requirements

  • Power Socket: A dedicated 16A power socket with adequate connected load is required for optimal performance.
  • Wiring: Use a minimum of 4 square mm cable to handle the electrical load safely.
  • Earthing: Ensure the power socket is properly earthed to prevent electrical hazards.
  • Circuit Breaker: Install a Residual Current Breaker (RCB) and a Surge Protection Device (SPD) to protect against power surges and electrical faults.
  • Voltage Stabilizer: If facing frequent input power fluctuations, use an appropriate voltage stabilizer.
Instructions to Use

1. Preparation
  • Ensure your charging area is dry and free from obstructions.
  • Verify that the socket you'll be using is properly earthed to ensure safety during charging
2. Setting Up the Charger
  • Unpack the Aveo 3.6 Plus EV charger
  • Connect the 3.6 Plus charger to a 16A power socket
3. Selecting the Current
  • Use the switch on the charger to select your desired current setting 
  • Choose a lower current setting if you are unsure about the power capacity of your socket
4. Connecting to Your EV
  • Plug the Aveo 3.6 Plus charger's connector into your electric vehicle's charging port.
  • Ensure the connection is secure and the plug is properly seated.
5. Starting the Charge
  • Once connected, the charger will automatically begin charging your vehicle.
  • The LED indicator on the charger will show the charging status
6. Ending the Charge
  • Once your vehicle is fully charged, or if you need to stop charging, switch off the charger from the socket before unplugging it from your vehicle.
  • Carefully disconnect the charger from your EV and store it safely
7. Safety Precautions
  • Always use a properly earthed socket to avoid electrical hazards.
  • Ensure a Surge Protection Device (SPD) and a Residual Current Breaker (RCB) are installed to protect against power surges and electrical faults.
  • Do not use the charger if it or any of its components appear damaged.
  • Keep the charger away from water and extreme temperatures.
  • Follow all local regulations and guidelines regarding EV charging
